At a community and regional level, being united as a whole is integral to solving concerns as a group. Being unified allows individuals to bond with one another, improve relations, and understand our diverse knowledge within our region. Socially, joining together in Iñupiat traditions and working to improve cultural issues such as revitalizing our Iñupiaq language creates community and continues our Iñupiat lifestyle. Applying our Iñupiat values of avoiding conflict, cooperation, humor, and respecting one another will ensure we can unite together to solve our local and regional concerns. VOICE is passing along information you can use to understand Iñupiat matters and what is being done to solve them.
