You are at higher risk of severe illness due to COVID-19 if you:
- Are older in age
- Have diabetes
- Have asthma
- Have existing heart, lung or kidney disease
The virus is mainly spread through sneezing and coughing
Coronavirus can survive on many surfaces for an undeterminable time
Spreading the virus through the mail on envelopes/packages is unlikely
Handwashing is more effective in protecting you from the virus than masks and gloves
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like masks and gloves should be saved for health care facility personnel

All patients and visitors will be screened at both hospital entrances
Visitors with flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, congestion) are prohibited
No pregnant or immune-compromised visitors permitted
No visitors under age 12
Visitors are limited to two (2) healthy persons in a patient room at any time
Gathering areas (pharmacy, labor and delivery, vision, dental clinic) are restricted to patients and escorts only
All visitors must wash hands or use hand sanitizer before, during and after visits
